High Stakes, Mom

Part of the "Myths and Old Magick" Collection, this painting evokes a sense of nostalgia for when you were  a child--- leaping over the cracks in the sidewalk chanting, "Don't step on a crack, or you'll break your mother's back!" A superstition that we all knew would never come true, but was an excuse to leap and play on every walk.
