Forest for the Trees

I wanted to delve into the profound folly of humanity. Amidst a blazing wildfire, a man still decides to light his own fire. Embroidered sparks fly. He is the embodiment of apathy in the face of impending disaster. The materials used speak to the burning (cotton and paper) and the burnt (charcoal). Ships matted and framed.
